NST Terminais e Logistica SA was awarded the contract to rehabilitate and operate terminals 30 and 31 at Santos Port. NST is a joint-venture of Rocha Maritima (50%), Wilport (30%), GB Terminais do Brasil (10%) and Transchem Agencia Maritima (10%). The terminal has an area of 15,000 square meters and a pier with 500 meters in length and 11 meters in depth. The company operates since September of 1998 and is a terminal specialised in the operation of forest products and general cargo. NST Terminais e Logistica SA invested US$ 3 million in the terminals infrastructure from 1998 to 2000. The contract has a 15-year duration, extendable for an additional 15-year period. The sponsors will pay a lease fee of US$ 0.28 per square meter per year and US$ 0.28 per ton per month. In December 2007, the concession contract was adjusted so that its termination date would be changed to May 2028.
