This project involves the concession of the Sao Goncalo do Amarante Airport, also known as the Greater Natal International Airport, located in Natal city, state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. The special purpose vehicle for this initiative is CONCESSIONÁRIA DO AEROPORTO INTERNACIONAL DE NATAL S.A. A 30-year concession was awarded to Zurich Airport on the 19th of May 2023. The losing bidder was NK 230 Investimentos, which was represented by Nova Futura. The objective of the auction was to select the most advantageous proposal, based on the criterion of the highest initial contribution offered for the expansion , maintenance and operation of the airport for a period of 30 years. The minimum bid was set at R$226,9 million. The total project cost is $66.94m (R$328m), of which $42.86m (R$210m) are provided with a bond emission with 2.6 years tenor and a maturity end in March 2026.
