SPV is SLEA – São Luís Engenharia Ambiental S.A., a wholly owned subsidiary of the sponsor Vital Engenharia Ambiental S.A. Total value of the contract is R$2.275.081.596,99 or $ 1.182 billion of which $ 116.43 (R$224.032.513,00) million will be invested in physical assets. For the structuring of the project, a Public Consultation was held on 07/07/2011, followed by a Bid published on 10/24/2011. The bidding for this Administrative Concession took place through an International Competition of the Technique and Price type.
