Description | This project involves the construction of Sao Ricardo III & Sao Ricardo IV Wind Farms, located in Cajuína Wind Complex, State of Rio Grande do Norte. The sponsors of this initiative are AES Corporation with 50.5% and Unipar with 49.5% shares of Veleiros Holdings, and the two SPVs are Ventos de São Ricardo 03 Energias Renováveis and Ventos de São Ricardo 04 Energias Renováveis. The planned generated capacity of the two wind farms is 90.6MW. The total project cost is $136m (R$720m) of which Veleiros Holdings issued a non-convertible debentures of $76m (R$400m) with the Banco Credit Agricole Brasil as the bond arranger.
