Description
Description | SAR is a seaside residential project designed by Open Architecture Design (OAD) on the Saraiki coastline in Latvia. The project repurposes abandoned Soviet-era military bunkers into a residential complex composed of a main house and two guest houses for a multi-generational family. The design incorporates the existing bunker foundations into the new structures, with a dual-sloped roof clad in fiber cement panels and a glass facade supported by a custom metal frame. The guest houses have grass roofs to blend with the coastal terrain and support local fauna habitats. |
