Sarnia-Lambton YMCA Recreation Facility Rehabilitation

The project will rehabilitate the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario, Sarnia-Lambton YMCA (Jerry McCaw Family Centre) in Sarnia, Ontario. The work will involve replacing all facility windows, exterior doors, balance of flat roof, heat exchangers, heat pumps and building automation system, emergency generators, and pool filters. The work will also include resurfacing the parking lot and pedestrian walkways. The rehabilitation will allow operational costs savings to be reallocated towards programming for the community, including First Nations members and Newcomers, and will give access to more members. The project will also improve the quality of member experience by providing consistent air and water temperatures, and will improve access by offering a safer environment by resurfacing walkways and reducing trip hazard.
