Saudi Arabia’s Digital Waste Management Platform Development PPP Project

The Waste National Platform (WNP) project involves the design, development, financing, and long-term operation of a unified digital system to manage the entire waste lifecycle across Saudi Arabia. Implemented through a PPP under the National Center for Privatization & PPP, the project aims to integrate all stakeholders—including government entities, waste generators, transporters, and treatment facilities—into a single platform that enables end-to-end tracking of waste from generation to final disposal. It will provide services such as licensing and permitting, electronic waste manifests, compliance monitoring, data analytics, and reporting, while enhancing transparency, efficiency, and regulatory oversight.
