Description | ZOE Energy Storage has formed a joint venture with a Saudi partner to develop Saudi Arabia's first world-class battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing facility. The project supports Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and clean energy transition, with a two-phase development: Phase I with 6 GWh capacity starting production in Q1 2027, and Phase II expanding to 18 GWh. The facility will be built to high European standards, receive 'Made in Saudi' certification, and serve markets across the Gulf, Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia, and Africa. A Green Energy Academy will be established on-site for training and skills development. |
