The overall objective of the project is to create a new tourist destination by valuing the common historical and cultural heritage centered on the history of the Maison de Savoie, through a cross-border cultural circuit. The project aims to improve the attractiveness of the reference region by enhancing its heritage, redefining and integrating the current cultural offer and strengthening the knowledge and experience of local actors in order to increase their narrative skills, i.e. how heritage is told and communicated. The project also wants to work on the sense of belonging, so that the population and the tourist and cultural operators can identify themselves under a single brand “SavoiaExperience” and be themselves promoters of this territory. The project aims, at the same time, to communicate and enhance the new destination through its sustainable use, including in environmental and social terms.
