Description | Abandonment of two monitoring wells MW-27 and PZ-3 located at 4625 Rockwood Pkwy NW. The wells were originally constructed in 2004 and 2005, respectively, and were screened within fine sand and decomposed rock. Well casing will be removed or split and a bentonite grout mixture will be tremie-grouted from the bottom of the well to the surface. The site will be restored in kind and all surface structures will be removed (ie well monument). IDW will be containerized and properly disposed of offsite.
