The goal of the project is to create a business infrastructure - a business park and a consultancy centre. The business park will be located in the Petresti Commune; with a central building which can house several small businesses and will serve as a production hall for these businesses and several lots of land complete with utilities to house SMEs which will have to create their own production hall. On the other hand, in Vallaj, a consultancy centre will be established and a small conference and exhibition centre to provide business consultancy to the SMEs from the region, but also to provide possibilities for the SMEs to organise conferences, exhibitions on which they can establish business relationships with partners outside their own community. The general objective of the project is to increase the economic cohesion of the border region by increasing the competitiveness of the SMEs operating in the Petresti-Vallalj region. The target groups of the project are: local SMEs, the two local governments, the population in micro-region. One of the main results of the project is estimated to be increasing the entrepreneurial spirit in the action area. The main activity of the project is the development of business park and consultancy centre and acquisition of equipment. The direct beneficiaries of the present project will be the local or micro-regional SMEs from the two communes, and the possible investors, who will have access to a business park, basic economical infrastructure and business consultancy regarding. A large variety of specific local target groups will benefit from the project results: local SMEs of the target area - 19 companies ;
