Schwarzman Animal Medical Center Expansion and Renovation

completed

Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, the world's largest veterinary hospital, completed an 83,000-square-foot expansion and renovation, the largest overhaul in six decades. The $125 million project included a new emergency room and upgraded facilities for cardiology, radiology, ophthalmology, neurology, and internal medicine. The multiphase construction began in 2021 and was completed in December 2025 while the hospital remained fully operational. The work was done in three phases, adding surgical capacity, patient capacity, and emergency and specialty medicine infrastructure.
