The SCL Community Hospital Project consisted of new construction of four community hospitals located in Westminster, Aurora, Littleton, and Northglenn. Three of the four facilities are two level, 40,000 SF buildings, while the fourth is three levels and 60,000 SF. Each facility includes 31 short-stay beds, eight exam rooms, two labor and delivery suites, two operating rooms, five post-acute care units, and two pre-operational rooms. These facilities are licensed hospitals with inpatient capabilities. The buildings include an imaging department with CT and x-ray facilities on the first level. The emergency, labor and delivery, postpartum recovery, and medical-surgery departments are also located on the first level. Level two includes a surgery suite on approximately half of the floor plate, with unfinished medical office building shell space on the second half.
