The geothermal system, believed to be the deepest of its type in the UK, will provide reliable green heat, replacing gas-fired boilers and contributing to the hospital's net-zero targets. Additional improvements include constructing a new energy centre and upgrading windows, roofing, and the Building Management System. The works are carried out by CeraPhi Energy Ltd and are due for completion early next year. |
