Description | Jacobs has been awarded an EPCM contract by Hut 8 to deliver the second U.S. AI data center campus called Beacon Point in Nueces County, Texas. The multi-phase campus is designed to support one gigawatt of total capacity and will apply design elements from the River Bend campus in Louisiana. Jacobs will use its data center digital twin technology to simulate critical assets, de-risk commissioning, and accelerate deployment of AI workloads. Initial energization and commissioning are targeted for 2027. |
