Description | Jacobs has been awarded a sole-source EPCM contract by Hut 8 to deliver a second U.S. AI data center campus called Beacon Point in Nueces County, Texas. The multi-phase campus is designed to support 1 gigawatt of total capacity and will apply proven design elements from the River Bend campus in Louisiana. Jacobs will use digital twin technology to simulate critical assets, de-risk commissioning, and accelerate deployment of AI workloads. Initial energization and commissioning are targeted for 2027. |
