Description | The project will rehabilitate water and wastewater lines along Second Street and Broadway Avenue in Rainy River, Ontario. The work will involve replacing 570 metres of wastewater collection lines, 760 metres of water distribution lines, eight (8) valve boxes, 44 sanitary sewer connections, three (3) sanitary sewer manholes, and installing three (3) fire hydrants. The project will improve water pressure, support better fire protection, reduce operation and maintenance costs, extend the life of the asset, and decrease service delivery issues by resolving plugging occurrences and line collapses. |
