The MIF resources would be used to finance technical advisory services in the field of air transportation as well as legal and financial advisory services. The project resources would finance the preparation of the following outputs and activities: (i) the master plan for the sector; (ii) the investment plan (specifying investment and expansion needs during the concession period); (iii) Economic and financial analysis of the concession; (iv) design of the design transaction; (v) the sales memorandum; and (vi) the design and negotiation of the concession contract.The financing would supplement IDB resources for the organization and training of the Civil Aeronautics Directorate (DGAC), amd for the private sector participation in air traffic control.
