The FC module, designed as an open program, helps to improve the sustainable, cost-covering and socially acceptable access of the population living in the program regions (target group) to a reliable and hygienically safe water supply (WV) (DC program objective). The FC module objective is the use of the rural WV systems rehabilitated or newly built through the measure. The measures include the rehabilitation or new construction of WV systems and necessary complementary wastewater disposal measures (AE), including associated consulting services. By means of an accompanying measure (BM), the technical and operational performance of the municipalities participating in the program is strengthened and the capacities of the sponsor to implement the nationwide program and to carry out training, awareness-raising and educational measures are further developed. The total costs of the open program including an accompanying measure amount to a total of 39.3 million euros.
