Demonstrating innovative energy-saving measures and the positive effects is spurring homeowners and owners of public buildings into action. On the one hand, See2Do! attempts to generate interest amongst private individuals and municipalities by showing energy loss by means of thermographic recordings, street and home scans and aerial photos. On the other hand, one of the best ways of highlighting the possibilities for an energy-efficient renovation is to demonstrate best practices. Those 'good examples' are concrete investments in towns such as Bruges, Hombeek, Breda and Maastricht. In Bruges, for example, a number of 'incentive homes' have undergone an energy renovation and in Breda's town hall LED lighting has been installed.
