Segele Mine Vertical Shaft Project

The project involves the development of a vertical shaft at the Segele mine in Ethiopia. Good progress has been made with hard rock reached and final collar work underway to stabilize the headgear infrastructure. Shaft sinking is expected to accelerate once completed, with approximately 75 metres remaining to reach the bottom. The reduced shaft diameter at greater depths will enable faster cycles in drilling, blasting, and mucking, improving operational efficiency.
