Description | Pure Data Centres Group (Pure DC) has launched one of Finland's largest ever inward investment projects, a hyperscale cloud and AI data centre campus in Seinäjoki. Phase 1 involves over €1.5 billion investment for a 110MW AI campus, with potential to scale to a €7.5 billion, 550MW+ campus for AI workloads. The project includes modular high-density data halls with advanced cooling technologies, aims to support AI and machine learning workloads, and will create over 3,000 jobs during construction. It also includes improvements to local electricity and telecommunications infrastructure and collaboration with local educational institutions for skills development. |
