Description | A proposed pumped storage hydroelectric facility at Seminoe Reservoir designed to generate 970 megawatts of power. The system will pump water from Seminoe Reservoir to a new 120-acre upper reservoir during surplus energy periods and release it back through turbines during peak demand, providing up to 12 hours of full-output energy storage. The project includes construction of an access bridge, an underground powerhouse, a main access tunnel, and a 29-mile transmission line to the Aeolus substation. |
