Serowe Pitse Proof-of-Concept Pilot

Phase 1 of the Pitse proof-of-concept pilot at the Serowe CBM Project in Botswana involves perforating and equipping the Serowe-3.5A well with a downhole pump to initiate controlled reservoir pressure drawdown and support multi-well interference testing for the project’s Bankable Feasibility Study. The program includes ongoing testing at Serowe-3.1, dewatering at Serowe-3.4, and planned completion, stimulation, and drilling activities across other pilot wells in early 2026. It aims to generate critical reservoir, production, and operational data to optimize well design, confirm gas deliverability, and underpin a staged CBM-to-LNG development targeting up to 3.5 petajoules per year.
