Serpent River and Pronto Water Treatment Plants Optimization

The project will upgrade the Serpent River and Pronto water treatment plants in North Shore, Ontario. The work will optimize the operations of the water treatment plants by conducting studies and installing equipment and systems to reduce the level of haloacetic acids in drinking water to acceptable regulatory levels. In addition, alternate water treatment methods will be implemented to support operational efficiency. The project will fund improvements to water treatment facilities, which will increase access to potable water by increasing the reliability and efficiency of the water treatment infrastructure.
