"Phase 2 of the Serra do Assuruá Wind Complex involves the construction of this onshore wind facility, located in the municipality of Gentio do Ouro, in Bahia state, Brazil. The sponsor for this initiative is Engie Group. The total investment for this phase amounts to $638.21 million (R$3.5 billion), secured through a debenture issuance by the sponsor company. The issuance was arranged by Santander, Itaú BBA, Bradesco, Banco Votorantim, Banco Safra, and Banco ABC Brasil, with a 10-year tenor and a maturity date set for July 2034. The proceeds will be used to reimburse investments made in the implementation of the Serra do Assuruá Wind Project.
