This project involves the construction of the Serrita II Solar Plant, part of the Solar Serrita complex, located in Salgueiro, in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil. The sponsor for this initiative is the Spanish developer Elecnor group. The planned generated capacity of Serrita II Solar Plant is 30MW. The total project cost is $35 m (R$191m), of which the Brazil's Superintendency for the Development of the Northeast (Sudene) has committed to provide a loan for $21m (R$114m) through the Northeast Development Fund (FDNE), with the first tranche of the loan approved for $12m (R$64.5m). The remaining $14m will be provided by the sponsor company.
