Description | Serum Institute of India Limited (SIIL) was establishing 33.6 MW (16 units of 2.1MW each) wind farm at Jaibhim village in Dhule district of Maharashtra. The project was initially planned as 37.8 MW (18 units of 2.1MW each). The project development and equipment supply would be done by Suzlon Limited. The power would be evacuated through the NEWNE grid of India to the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. (MSEDCL). The project cost was estimated at USD 48mn (INR 2160mn @ 45 INR/USD) as per the PDD (UNFCC documents). Further information on financial closure was not available at the time of collection of this information. The project was commissioned in November 2011. |
