Description | Objectives - Improve understanding of victim support services provision, challenges and opportunities - Promote networking and referral agreements with police and other CJ actors - Increase stakeholder awareness about the importance of comprehensive victim support service provision and inter-organizational cooperation - Facilitate transnational exchange between VSS to support knowledge exchange and cooperation - Increase local/national capacity and willingness to address gaps in victim support and Directive 2012/29/EU implementation and multi-agency cooperation Activities - VSS mapping and organizational assessment - Interviews with VSS and victims - Model analysis and specification - Development and implementation of national strategic plans - Transnational Exchange Meetings Type and number of persons benefiting from the project - 60 healthcare professionals - 70 law enforcement - 70 lawyers - 160 VSS - 60 victims - 30 mediators - 5 academia - 15 EU & national policymakers - An additional 62.000 persons are expected to benefit indirectly via the website, social media, booklets Expected results - Improved cooperation between NGOs, national authorities, law enforcement, legal practitioners, and other service providers - Increased public awareness about victims’ rights, available services and how to access them - Increased practitioners’ capacity to provide services and address issues related to the protection of victims’ rights - Enhanced knowledge of EU Directive 2012/29/EU and its provisions amongst VSS practitioners and other stakeholders - Increased compatibility of national and local actions, administration and legal frameworks; - Greater transnational cooperation between VSSs - Greater transnational cooperation at EU level between VSS in partner countries Type and number of deliverables to be produced - 1 State of the Art Report - 6 National Reports - 6 Strategic Plans - 1 EU Models in Transition Handbook - 1 Victims’ Voices Booklet - 1 Final conference |
