ServeHER (SH) overall objective is to promote education in and through sport and enhance the quality of coaching at EU grassroots volleyball federation level. This will be achieved by elaborating, piloting, evaluating, and disseminating an innovative ServeHER dual career program aiming to enforce 50 female volleyball players 16-17 aged with knowledge and skills to become coaches, club managers and statisticians after sports. The aim is to empower them with literacy, knowledge and skills in volleyball coaching, club management and statistics needed as dual career path needed for their better carrier perspective in nowadays labour market and overall positive holistic development. The ambition of the project partners is to provide an innovative scientific - based sports-educational dual career program at the level of volleyball federations and applicable for grassroots volleyball sports clubs 1 Research Report on main reasons for girls 16-17 aged drop out of volleyball, ServeHER dual career sports-educational program including 3 modules, with Virtual Training Sessions and 5 motivational videos, 1 ServeHER Ambassadors network, a Project digital platform and Guidelines to serve European volleyball clubs in their educational activities in dual career for girls 16-17 aged. Through setting up a transnational network of 2 EU sports federations in EU volleyball – Bulgarian Volleyball Federation and Volley Belgium, the project will provide for the proper mix of expertise to implement the one-of-a-kind EU teenage grassroots volleyball dual career program. The new program will ultimately support volleyball girls to stay in sports and raise and develop female coaches, managers and statisticians in European volleyball while empowering them with contemporary labour market skills.
