Description | The Wisconsin Dept. of Facilities Management is planning to build Sesquicentennial Hall, an engineering building, for the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. The four-story, 76,900-sq-ft building will contain instructional laboratory suites, project and research laboratories and general assignment classrooms. The campus data center will also be relocated into this building from the basement of Gardner Hall, and a new surface parking lot will be constructed to replace the one serving as the site for this building. The structure is being designed by BWBR Architects. The project is valued at $41.8 million, and construction is expected to begin in June. |
