Description | The Setapuktuk Wind Project is a wind energy project located in the Municipality of the District of Guysborough, Nova Scotia. It will generate 432 megawatts of clean electricity from 54 eight-megawatt turbines, powering EverWind's green hydrogen and ammonia facility in Point Tupper. The project is expected to operate for 35 years, create 350 to 400 jobs during construction, and 20 to 35 full-time jobs once operational. It will generate about $3.74 million in annual municipal tax revenue and prevent 730,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions each year. |
