In response to a shifting market and lessons learned, Setembro Cine has been working to implement a business strategy for a new phase. Now is the time for the next step: the company’s consolidation internationally and the diversification of its production and business portfolio. The company is overseeing ambitious artistic projects aimed at global audiences. It is adapting to the new global context, building economic stability, restructuring the business model and strategy, strengthening its network. Finally, it is working on contents that make a symbolic contribution to society (vis-a-vis their message or the people involved in their production). In this regard, working with women and producing stories told by women is one of the goals of Setembro Cine. During this work stage, the distribution of tasks among Setembro collaborators is being restructured to increase the number of projects in the pipeline within its current three areas of development. The work involves facilitating the development of projects within each business area to reach ambitious goals in terms of both quality and scope. Another objective is push the reestructure of the Setembro team, including new team members and regular collaborators, and increase the company’s business volume (See Sections 1.1 and 1.2). Overall, Setembro Cine aims in this new stage: projects in the pipeline to make the leap that the company, its team members and collaborators have been preparing for, exploring and open to diversification in the business model and learning and training our team to improve in green practice.
