Setting up of 50 MW [plus/minus 5 percent] Wind Power Plant for Captive Consumption at MR

Economic/Social Impact of the Project BPCL planned a 50 MW wind project in Maharashtra for captive use at Mumbai Refinery [MR], leveraging the Intra State Transmission System [In STS]. The consultant engaged for DFR assessed Maharashtra wind zones and projected a CUF of 32/34 percent, where LSTK Tender was prepared considering CUF of 32 percent by the PMC engaged for the LSTK Project on a conservative side. On Domestic Competitive bidding, the Works Contract for setting up a 50.40 MW Wind Power Plant on LSTK mode for captive consumption at Mumbai Refinery [MR] in the District Nandurbar, Maharashtra has been awarded to M/s Integrum Energy Infrastructure Private Limited. Total 24 Wind Energy Generators of capacity 2.1 MW each are proposed to be installed. Power will be transmitted to Mumbai Refinary [MR] via open access, with applicable charges and losses.
