Economic/Social Impact of the Project The fact that young people attending school and colleges are emerging as new target market for the drug trafficking industry, different studies reveal that young people from Tripura are easy prey to drug addiction which affects different aspects of their personal life and the social sphere as a whole. The Government of Tripura has been concentrating to construct new infra to cope up with this grave situation and therefore has envisaged to set up this drug rehabilitation facility with prevention education, awareness generation, detoxification services to enable patients to decrease their previous level of substance abuse.
