Information Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has come up with Setup, Operation, and Maintenance of the Data Centre at STPI locations on a Revenue-Sharing model with a ticket size of 50 INR Crores. This project in Data Centers sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Tender Publish and is being developed through the PPP route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project STPI has built a new facility of 2 lakh sq. ft. in Kolkata to meet the demands of the IT industry. The facility has G plus 6 floors, each floor area of 23,000 sq. ft. The facility has a Data Centre Space on the 2nd floor of the building having two wings of approximate area13000 Sq. Ft [Wing-A] & 10000 Sq. Ft [Wing-B], the structure of the building is already built, taking care of load-bearing capacity & and ceiling height requirements.STPI invites proposals from prospective bidders who have experience building Data centers & offer Data center services on the PPP model and operate the same for a period of 10 Years and extendable up to a maximum of 5 years on mutually agreed terms and conditions.
