Description | Sevan Hrazdan Cascade Hydropower System (the System) consists of seven run-of-the-river hydropower stations located along a waterway of connected rivers (Hrazdan and Marmarik, canals and reservoirs, principally fed by the Marmarik river. The System was originally built between 1930 and 1965. The Project involves the rehabilitation and modernization of the System's four hydropower plants, the diversion channels for three plants and associated electrical equipment replacement at the substations. |
