Description
Description | The sewer collection system will be rehabilitated in order to address high infiltraton rates during wet weather. The work will be carried out in the collection system in areas suspected to produce high infiltration rates. The pipes range in size from 200mm in diameter to 300mm. The pipes will be cleaned, then inspected with closed circuit cameras. Area with leaks will be repaired using grouting for spot repairs or liners for longer sections that are not suitable for spot repair. The length of pipe to be reviewed and treated depends on the work determined to be required after inspection, however we anticipate that 2000 to 3000 metres of pipe could be repaired. |
