Sexual violence against children (SVaC) is a taboo in Croatia and there is a lack of systematic prevention programs. During 2019 and 2020, Women’s Room developed SV prevention program (SVEP) for high schools that is verified by Ministry of Science and Education. Now we are developing “SVEP 2-Junior” for elementary schools. Due to COVID-19, the biggest proportion of prevention programs are cancelled and there is a need for online tool that children can use by themselves. Through SNEP Online tool we will fill this gap. General objective is prevention, early detection and protection of children and young people from SV through development of online tool for prevention, educational activities, capacity building and awareness rising. Specific objectives: better response to the prevention of SVaC during and after COVID-19 through development, implementation and assessment of the SVEP Online tool; to actively involve children in the prevention of SVaC; to increase the access to the support services for children, parents and professionals; to increase capacity of stakeholders and professionals to address issue of SVaC through increased knowledge and strengthened multiagency cooperation; to raise awareness and change the attitudes on SVaC and to promote the SVEP Online tool. All objectives are directly linked to project activities. Outcomes: 1st online preventive program for SVaC in Croatia (1525 children and young people); Capacity building of institutions, state bodies, CSOs, educational professionals (535); Parents (100) will gain knowledge on SVaC; SVaC survivors, parents and educational professionals (120) will be supported. Public (250000) will be sensitised through implementation of National campaign. We promote a concrete, practical approach to SVaC prevention and strengthening of high-quality services for SVaC survivors and in accordance with the national and international Conventions, Directives and Recommendations. Results are easily replicable to all countries.
