In September 2011, construction of the 49.5MW Xiuhuamiao Wind Farm Project sponsored by the China WindPower Group Ltd. commenced. It is an important part of the 5,000MW power development program of Zhangye City. China WindPower had a 100% stake in the project. The total investment was RMB 420 million (US$ 64.19 million). The project had been approved by the local government in August 2011. The debt/equity ratio of the project is 4, with debt financing coming from the China Industrial and Commercial Bank. |
