Ltd signed an agreement in November 2007 to construct a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 50,000 cubic meters per day in Rizhao City, Shandong Province. The project was procured via competitive bidding. Herocan will establish a project company, Rizhao Lanshan Yuntong Water Affairs Co., operate the facility for 25 years before transferring it back to the local government. The total investment was RMB 70 million (US$ 9.2 million). Herocan owns 100% of the project. |
