Description | The project involves the construction of phase I of Shandong Yucheng Waste-to-energy plant, located in Yucheng City, Shandong province of China. The project has a designed daily waste processing capacity of 600 tonnes (219,000 tonnes/year)and will process household waste from Yucheng City and Pingyuan County. The plant will be equipped with 2 x 300 tonnes/day mechanical grate furnaces and one 12MW turbine power generator. The sponsor China Everbright International Ltd signed a 30-year concession agreement under BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) model. The project cost is CNY 444 million or $ 66.13 million.
