The project aims to improve the living environment of the people and promote the marketization of sanitation operations in the urban area of ??Shangli County, China. The service scope of the project is the urban area county, including 4 communities and 10 administrative villages in Shangli Town (Binhe, Xishun, North-South, Ping'an and Shengli Village, Shiyang Village, Qiantang Village, Foling Village, Longhe Village, Xinqun Village, Caichang Village, Xinmin Village, Sihai Village, Anbu Village, serving a population of 80,000), Jinshan Town and Jinshan Bridge to Shangli Middle School. The SPV is called Shangli County Jiabao Landscaping Co., Ltd. and is owned by Shangli County Urban Construction Investment Co (10%) and Dongguan Jiabao Garden Greening Co (90%). The total cost amounts to CNY16.99 million or $2.4 million. This project uses TOT (Transfer-Operate-Transfer) + OM (Entrusted Operation) model for a concession period of 15 years. Financial close was reached in October 2019.
