Description | In April 2015, a local private company Chongqing Kangda Group won a PPP contract to finance, build and operate the No.6 Wastewater Treatment Plant of Shangqiu City, in Shangqiu City, Henan Province. The design capacity of the plant was 100,000 tons per day and the first phase was 50,000 tons per day. The total investment was US$ 14.89 million (RMB 92.72 million) for phase I. The concession term was 28 years. Chongqing Kangda had a 100% stake in the project. When exactly construction commenced was not reported, but one article released that by September 2015, US$ 1.61 (RMB 10 million ) had been expended on construction. |
