The project entails the road reconstruction of a total of 177.604 km in Shanxi Province, China. Reconstruction works include: (1) K10+398~K54+101 section of the provincial highway Linxia line; (2) K37+018~K49+421 section of the provincial highway 330 line; (3) Provincial Highway 331 Ping Curve K186+121~K216+585 pavement reconstruction; (4) National Highway 209 Line Qianloudi to Hejinjie pavement reconstruction; and (5) Provincial Highway Hongyong Line Shangfeng Head to Mogou section road reconstruction. Shanxi Provincial Highway Bureau, the implementing agency of the 21-year concession, signed a PPP project contract with China Highway Engineering Consulting Group Co. (95%) and Shanxi Jinlu Investment Development Co (5%). The project company, Shanxi Zhongzi Highway Maintenance Co., Ltd., will invest, finance, construct, operate and transfer the project, which also includes operation and maintenance of roadbeds, pavements, bridges, culverts, tunnels, traffic engineering, etc. The total project cost is $77.69 million (523.69 million Yuan) and financial close was achieved on 20 May, 2022. https://www.cpppc.org:8082/inforpublic/homepage.html#/projectDetail/95f6576b04a94901be8d784c65c37b6e
