The project entails the road reconstruction of a total of 297.069 km in Shanxi Province, China. Reconstruction works include: (1) the road surface of the provincial highway K31+000-K57+000 section; (2) the provincial highway K3+000-K83+716 section of the road; (3) sections K0+000-K40+500 and K65-K90+554 of Provincial Highway Ma No. 5 Line; (4) pavement reconstruction of section K39+000-K54+000 of Provincial Highway Shiyang Line; (5) provincial highway Wanwa line K0+400~K31+840, K94+000~K121+000 and K138+640~K190+920; K107+000~K135+880 section pavement. Shanxi Provincial Highway Bureau, the implementing agency of the 21-year concession, signed a PPP project contract with Shanxi Transportation Investment and Financing Group Co. (95.05%), China Railway Third Bureau Group Co. (0.95%) and Shanxi Jinlu Investment Development Co (5%).
