Shaping digital transformation with digital education

ALL DIGITAL is a European association working to enhance digital skills across Europe. It currently represents 116 member organisations that work with 25,000 digital competence centres – ICT learning centres, adult education centres, libraries, universities etc. – providing training and support in digital skills to 2.3 million people every year. The main strength of ALL DIGITAL network lies in its capacity to reach out at the grassroots level. We support our members by fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration and by representing their interest to the EU. We create and promote innovative solutions and good practices in the fields of digital skills, digital education and inclusion. Our vision is that everyone can benefit from digital transformation. ALL DIGITAL is supporting its members in equipping all people with digital skills, with confidence, and a mindset that allows them to understand how digital transformation can contribute to a greener, more sustainable, inclusive, and cohesive growth of society, as well as how digital competences can enhance their personal and professional development. Our forward-looking approach is aimed planning and scheduling the actions to be undertaken at short and mid-term and developing a consultation and monitoring mechanism with the capacity to anticipate the needs of EU citizens in the field of digital education. In our strategic plan, digital inclusion is understood as the ability to provide capacity building, advocacy, and networking services to timely and effectively adapt to the needs and demands of civil society and the private sectors, starting from all organisations and practitioners that deliver digital education programmes in formal, non-formal and informal settings.
