The project, led by AAB College's Faculty of Public Administration, aims to strengthen Kosovo's integration into the European Union by enhancing knowledge, fostering interdisciplinary research, and promoting inclusive engagement, over 36 months. It focuses on three key objectives: education, research, and dissemination. Specific Objective 1 involves developing three elective courses on EU studies, integrated across faculties that don’t typically focus on EU topics. A transnational summer school will be organized for students and early-career researchers to explore EU governance and regional integration. The Jean Monnet Ambassador Program will raise awareness through student-led outreach, and the EU Integration Hackathon will encourage students from diverse fields to propose digital solutions for EU-related challenges. Specific Objective 2 aims to foster collaborative research on the EU’s impact on Kosovo, covering democratization, economic development, and rule of law. An EU Impact Observatory will monitor and evaluate EU-funded initiatives in Kosovo, with findings published in accessible formats. Knowledge exchange forums will bring together academics, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss EU integration and regional cooperation. Specific Objective 3 will focus on disseminating knowledge through digital content, podcasts, and conferences, engaging students, academics, and the public to raise awareness of Kosovo’s EU integration process. Through education, research, and outreach, the project will support Kosovo’s EU integration while fostering informed dialogue across various sectors of society.
