As the project name “Shaping the future together...” already says, our project is about filling the common living and economic space in the Sušice-Cham region with life. This works best if people are brought together across borders and jointly develop, test and implement thematic content, while also using communication channels that young people are familiar with. Since the focus of the project is that pupils from CZ and BY get to know the different systems and contents of vocational training (school-dual) and on the other hand also deal with cultural and social values and norms of the neighbouring country, based on previous experiences in several bilateral working meetings, we have the following project priorities festgelegt:betreute long-term internships for CZ pupils in Bavaria in crafts and services (BY u. CZ pupils) 2day. Working workshops in CZ & BYhierzu Preparatory shorts, workshops to get to know professional specifics.Language content and other competencesElaboration of new teaching materials for language teaching (CZ & BY)thematic visits with student groups in Sušice and Chamgegemeinschafter Sport in SušiceWorkshops for teachers and traineeship supervisors in Sušice u. ChamEstablishing additional vocabulary cards (new professions) in Czech, German and English as well as of company and internship information. for online presentation on the existing website www.susice-cham.eu Project documentation in the form of an Almanac as well as in the further expansion of the homepage Youth/young adults through new media such as Skype, Faceb., Int. specifically promoted in order to maintain contacts beyond personal meetings and to contribute to sustainable networking. The permanent exhibition in Sušice and Language Island in Cham should also contribute to this. In addition to all project contents, cross-cutting objectives such as the acquisition of interkult are also intended. Competences, the importance of own sustainable and environmentally conscious action as well as the guidelines of equal treatment and diversity are taught. Target groups of the project Youth & Young Adults from CZ and BY at the threshold of transition to the profession and trainers of the two schools. The objectives of the project are cross-border. Professional experience, the overcoming of language barriers, different vocational training systems and socio-cultural reservations. The added value of the project is that young people from CZ and BY understand and use the border area as a common living, work and economic area. As a result, this has the potential to successfully counteract the disadvantages of rural areas such as shortage of skilled workers, emigration or demographic decline.
