SEEK PLUS consortium aims to keep the work started two years ago with Sharing Entrepreneurial Experience and Knowledge (SEEK) within the framework of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Program, to capitalize the lessons learnt as well as the good practices developed for a fresher and better-quality support to entrepreneurs and enterprises in the COSME area with the general objective of promoting entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial culture in the regions and countries that are taking part in this renovated and enhanced proposal, improving the ability, know-how, skills and attitudes of the new entrepreneurs to start or consolidate their businesses; also reaching higher levels of competitiveness and sustainability of the European enterprises in the nine participant countries: Spain, Italy, Portugal, Albania, Ukraine, France (oversea region of Martinique), Ireland, Turkey and Cyprus. Aligned with the general objective of the EYE program, SEEK PLUS proposal will offer a better-quality support to enhance entrepreneurship, to develop the international outlook and competitiveness of European SMEs and foster potential start-up entrepreneurs within the COSME area by Sharing Entrepreneurial Experience and Knowledge amongst participants, particularly SMEs, aspiring and young entrepreneurs from partners’ countries. An appropriate number of entrepreneurs will be reached and attracted to the program, a good number of them will be identified, recruited and supported during the project. In particular, we will provide the opportunity to 117 NEs to receive on-the-job-training from an experienced entrepreneur in a COSME country, and we will motivate 120 entrepreneurs to participate in the program to share their knowledge and experience. We will make a broad dissemination of the program and will register at least 358 new and host entrepreneurs to the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program.
